dc.description.abstractAn assessment of the improvement in the Direction of Arrival (DoA) measurements in automotive radar sensor by joint calibration of the radar sensor plus the radome is presented. Nowadays, radar sensors are calibrated before the radome-emblem assembly. This makes radar sensors more vulnerable to the errors induced by the radome-emblems. This new approach is based on the idea of calibrating the radar sensor with the radome to improve the determination of the Direction of Arrival (DoA) and consequently reduce the angle error.
