Abstract
This paper describes the development of a marketing concept and technical infrastructure for Wingray, an innovative electric-driven watersports device designed by Comateq. The marketing concept analysed direct selling for Business to Customer (B2C) and rental activities for Business to Business (B2B). For the B2B market, a target customer profile was created and the identification of possible marketing channels performed. The results of the survey sent to selected companies, together with a thorough competitor analysis served as a foundation for the investigation of economic and technical needs of the potential partners. Based on the empirical findings, suggestion for a selling package with three levels of attractive solutions for rental companies has been developed, as well as the technical infrastructure solutions for the charging, transport, storage systems and for packaging were presented.
