Motivacoes para mobilidade academica internacional: um estudo exploratorio acerca dos estudantes brasileiros na Espanha

Abstract

The mobility of students to foreign countries is a very important phenomenon in the context of globalization and the internationalization of higher education and the factors such as: the image of the institution, the country, the city, the curriculum evaluation, the cost, the difficulty For admission and even personal reasons can determine the choice of the country of destination. Spain is an option of choice for many foreign students and the flow of Brazilian students to this country is significant. The authors consider that these flows may be even larger in the future. So, this article seeks to identify the factors taken into account by university students when choosing to study Spanish universities. The methodology used to answer the research problem is through an exploratory study, qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with twenty-three Brazilian students of official master's and doctoral programs.
