Desarrollo e implementacion de una aplicacion web para revisar la configuracion TACACS+ de los dispositivos de una LAN de una empresa.

Abstract

Currently in banking companies, you must have an exhaustive control of the users that access to the network devices. That is why, in this company, which belongs to a Catalan banking institution, there are many network equipment being controlled by several technicians. To maintain good control of the users who access and configure the network equipment, it is used the TACACS+ or RADIUS protocol. In this project, it is implemented a solution that aims to create a portal with the information of TACACS+ or RADIUS and the local users of each network equipment. This way, it will be much more comfortable and agile when carrying out audits. For this portal, the language of Python programming has been used to a large extent. This language has been the base of the script that allows to obtain all the information of most all the company network equipment. This information has been obtained with the help of the SSH remote access protocol. In this project a certain difficulty has been found due to the lack of access to the equipment through the security systems of the company. Firewalls have rules that block the remote SSH connection. In this case, the department that manages them should be in charge of delivering the information to the audits which require it.
