Estudio de los transportes a demanda implantados en Catalunya

Abstract

El estudio que se presenta a continuación trata de poner en valor el uso del transporte a demanda actualmente instaurado en Catalunya. A través de una serie de datos recopilados sobre la implantación de este servicio, se obtienen unas conclusiones. La obsolescencia y la rigidez destacan en la gran mayoría de servicios que se sirven hoy por hoy. Desde la implantación de los servicios de TAD en los años noventa, no se ha visto una evolución. Además, se han podido ver ver una serie de patrones que pueden ser de gran utilidad para futuras implantaciones ya que se pueden usar como primeras aproximaciones. Se han podido extraer las siguientes áreas de aplicación: transporte adaptado, días especiales, taxi a demanda, paradas a demanda y autobús nocturno. A partir de estas aplicaciones se han podido establecer puntos donde es interesante el estudio de la implantación del transporte a demanda.

The paper that follows aims to showcase the use of demand responsive transport that is, nowadays, implemented in Catalonia. By means of all the gathered information about this type of service, it has been achieved several conclusions. The vast majority of services that today are working in Catalonia are rigid and obsolete. Since the implementation of the demand responsive transport services, in the 90s, have likewise not developed. Moreover, it has been observed relevant application patterns which can be very useful for future implementations so that they can be used as a first approximation to the final solution. It has been studied the following patterns: paratransit, special days, taxi on demand, stop on demand and night service. Consequently, it has been detected several points whereby it would be interesting to study the implementation of demand responsive transport in Catalonia.
