C technology is being increasingly used to integrate RES, transmit power via long distance connections, interconnect regions to allow for cross-border sharing of resources and, strengthen AC networks among others. Such penetration will lead to the expectation of meshed HVDC grid constructions into the future. Converters have been known influence power quality and on the long term, supply security. More so as they are expected to dominate future grids. This paper aims to analyse the harmonic stability and interactions in meshed HVDC network by employing impedance models of the converters and grid distinctly, and applying the Z-bus concept to connect them together. Finally, classical frequency domain tools are applied to the derived closed-loop Z-bus matrix to analyse the shape of obtained impedances at each bus, and the transfer impedances to detect interaction. Additionally, the impact of control parameters is studied. Finally, the method is compared with the eigenvalues of the system to demonstrate the effectiveness of the analytical method.
