dc.description.abstract | This document contains, on the one hand, an exhaustive study of the drones' legal framework with a focus on the GeoNumerics' project named mapKITE. mapKITE is a patented application with some special characteristics in regards to the other drone applications so, for this reason, its insertion into the European and other certain countries' regulations is important. On the other hand, it also contains the design and implementation process of a Graphical User Interface that will be useful for changing the mapKITE's drone flight parameters in real time and in the most graphical and handy way. This is an important part because this tool will allow the user to have maximum control over the UAV and thereby staying within the given regulatory parameters, although some of these drone regulations can be quite strict sometimes. |
