dc.description.abstractThis study focuses to find the most beneficial control of attitude of a Solar Sail situated in the L1 Lagrange point. Several controls will be implemented in this work to find the most suitable one. From the most generic ones, like the Quaternion Error Control or the Sliding Mode Control, to the most specialized ones, like the PD control plus a term considering flexible appendages with output feedback controllers. A comparison of the performance of each of the controls will be made reaching a final selection of the most proper control. Furthermore, it will be studied the performance of each control in reducing the effects of the flexible disturbance due to the flexibility of the spacecraft.
