dc.description.abstractManaged Aquifer Recharge (MAR) is a well-known worldwide technology. Even though there is a lot of knowledge about the operation and management of a MAR facility, there is not much consensus and general knowledge about the risks they involve. The knowledge and prevision of these risks is a key aspect to develop new MAR facilities and so this work pretends to focus in this point. The aim of this TFM is compiling information about MAR problems and failures, present a methodology to assess MAR risk and apply this methodology to some sites around the Mediterranean zone.
