Un acercamiento a los paisajes sonoros de la Ciutat Vella de Barcelona

Abstract

Architectural environments lend their ordinary sounds to the world of music. Not only the comprehension of the architectural fact in its totality must be based on visual aspects, but also on other architectural manifestations. One of special interest is the acoustic one. The comprehension of the architectural representation from the soundscape, its assessment hearing its spaces and elements, constitutes one of the objectives of the doctoral thesis “From music to architecture: The soundscape as architectural design tool”.
