Este prácticum es el resultado de 6 meses de prácticas con un total 700 horas realizadas en la empresa Vesta Rehabilitación, S.L. Durante este tiempo he desarrollado mi primera experiencia laboral en el sector de la construcción.
Escogí esta modalidad de prácticum para conocer el funcionamiento de una constructora desde dentro y así tener contacto directo con la obra. Pienso que es una buena manera de culminar mis estudios ya que hoy en día la experiencia es lo que más se valora.
Gracias a los convenios de cooperación con empresas que dispone la universidad, la constructora se puso en contacto conmigo y me dio la oportunidad de incorporarme a su plantilla. Me han brindado la posibilidad de participar plenamente de sus proyectos desarrollando tareas tanto en obra como en oficina técnica. Esta experiencia me ha servido principalmente para: aprender nuevas metodologías de trabajo, utilizar por primera vez programas como el Presto, mejorar mis capacidades con AutoCad, realizar visitas de obra y lidiar con todo tipo de industriales.
El presente proyecto se centra en el seguimiento de obra de la sustitución de una cubierta en una nave industrial en Sant Vicenç de Castellet para la empresa Owen’s Corning Fiberglas, S.L. El objetivo de la fábrica es llevar a cabo la retirada todo el fibrocemento existente en cubiertas y canalizaciones. Para ello se modificará la geometría y sistema constructivo, añadiendo una nueva estructura en el interior de la nave con la necesidad de ampliar la cimentación existente.
En un inicio la empresa me presentó este proyecto para que formara parte y me sirviera como aprendizaje práctico, teniendo una experiencia a pie de obra. Ha sido fácil decantarme por esta opción ya que dentro de las obras en las que he trabajado, es en la que he realizado un seguimiento de obra continuo de todas sus fases. Se trata de una de las obras con más volumen de trabajo ejecutado teniendo en cuenta que lo lleva a cabo una constructora dedicada principalmente a la reforma y rehabilitación de edificios.
El desarrollo de este Trabajo de Final de Grado se divide en 3 partes diferenciadas: Introducción, memoria y fichas de seguimiento:
- Introducción: Descripción de la empresa de prácticas, enumeración de algunas de sus obras ejecutadas más relevantes y explicación de mi aportación general a la empresa.
- Memoria: Compuesta por una descripción del estado actual y un análisis del proyecto de intervención. Y seguimiento de cada una de las fases de obra mediante un estado inicial, una descripción del proceso de ejecución, un punto de imprevistos y mi aportación en cada fase.
- Fichas de seguimiento: He realizado unas fichas resumen de cada fase especificando las partidas realizadas, medios utilizados, recursos, medidas preventivas, documentación gráfica y fotografías.
This practicum is the result of 6 months of practice with a total of 7 hundred hours done in the company Vesta Rehabilitación, S.L. During this time, I have developed my first working experience at the construction sector.
I chose this modality of practicum in order to get to know the functioning of a construction company from inside and thus having direct contact with the work. I think it is a good way of ending up my studies, because nowadays experience is highly valued.
Thanks to the agreements of cooperation with companies that University has, the construction company contacted me and gave me the opportunity to get into its staff. They have given me the possibility of fully participating in its projects, doing tasks both at the work itself as well as in technic office. This experience has been mainly useful for me to : learn new working methodologies, use programs for the first time, such as Presto, improve my abilities with AutoCAD, make visits to the work and deal with all kind of industrialists.
The current project is focused on the follow-up of the work of substitution of a deck in an industrial ship in Sant Vicenç de Castellet, for the company Owen's Corning Fiberglass, S.L. The aim of the factory is the removal of all existing asbestos cement in decks and canalizations. For this purpose, the geometry and the constructive system will be modified, adding a new structure inside the ship, with the need of expanding the existing foundation.
Initially, the company presented this project to me so that I was part of it, and it was useful for me as practical learning, having an experience in construction, on-site. It has been easy to opt for this choice, because, out of the constructions where I have worked, this is the one in which I have made a continuous follow-up of all its phases. On the other hand, it is one of the constructions with the biggest volume of work executed, considering that it is carried out by a construction company mainly dedicated to the reform and rehabilitation of buildings.
The development of this End of Degree Work is divided into 3 parts: Introduction, Report and follow-up cards:
- Introduction: Description of the company in which I have done my practicum, listing of some of its most significant works executed and explanation of my general contribution to the company.
- Report: Composed by a description of the current condition and an analysis of the intervention project. And a follow-up of each phase of the work through an initial status, a description of the execution process, a point of unforeseen and my contribution during each phase.
- Follow-up cards: I have done some summary cards of each phase, specifying the budget items implemented, means used, resources, preventive measures, graphic documents and pictures.
