dc.description.abstractVitus Bering Innovation Park is an extension of VIA University College in Horsens, which has been recently built with the purpose of supplying offices and teaching facilities. This building has original characteristics which made us to choose it for carrying out our project. Our principal aim is to change the entire structure to a mix of concrete and steel structure. For carrying out this project, previously we would have to analyze the global stability of the building, design elements of the structure such as, beams and columns, as well as calculate what kind of foundations will be needed to support all the loads of the building.
