he following is a report for the EPS Project Academill which includes the description of the main objective of the project, requirements, research done, data and information collected through various methods, results and findings and conclusions made. The project was provided by Åbo Akademi University, Vaasa. The main objective of the project was to map the current energy situation of the university and to find a way of monitoring energy consumption as well as to provide some suggestions on how to reduce it. The first section of the report contains the introduction of EPS, introduction of the group members, project background in detail with mission and vision of the project and scope of the project where the main aim of the project has been described in detail along with the stakeholders, approaches and deliverables. Additionally, the report also describes the various methods and procedures used to gather data and information related with the project which includes meeting various personnel directly and through email or other means of communication and also a survey conducted within the premises of the university. The third section of the report consists of the detail explanation on the measuring and monitoring of the energy with description of the current situation, related variables such as electricity, heating and water, and possible solutions and suggestions. This section also contains the detailed study on the various aspects such as light bulbs, computers, toilets and sensors affecting the energy consumption with the current situation and suggestions on energy saving so as to save the energy cost. The final section of the report includes the conclusion of the project followed by the lessons learned by each group members during the whole project time period and the experiences. Also the report includes the attachments related to the project in the appendix followed by the list of references, figures and tables.
