This project is about making a mechanism application for the drone to collect and confine different solid samples such as little rocks, loose stone, grass and soil. The most important target on this project consists of finding the best mechanism to confine these different samples in only one mechanism. Besides, there is a difficulty in this project due to the fact that there is not any kind of mechanism previously invented, so it is necessary to analyze the different kinds of drawings or mechanisms which can contribute to work it out. The method used to calculate and make the mechanism consists of applying the geometrical resources to know how big or small they have to be and how long or short. After finishing the previous estimations it is drawn all the mechanism in Solidworks, then it is analyzed the most important pieces using the Solidworks Simulations in order to know how much strength is possible to use and if it is going to be broken or not. Finally we add an electric engine to create the strengths simulated before. To summarize the results it is possible to state that the mechanism can dig out and confine soil with the teeth tool and it also can pick up the different samples of solids not fixed on the ground, but there are different conditions to do it correctly. In the other cases when the conditions are not good enough could happen other things. To conclude the entire project, it could be said that there is a viability to make it possible. Nevertheless it needs more investigation and it needs tests to study the mechanism and perform it. But this project is a good way to demonstrate that different types of gadgets can be added to the drone to do different things developing the industry and helping in some way in real life, not only the application of filming is possible in it.
