dc.description.abstractAccording to the need of Inst. of Industrial and Control Engineering this Final Grade Project will draw a roadmap to achieve the final objective of simulating full vehicular networks. Following this roadmap, the project will focus on the initial steps of this process. First step will be to study the current state of the vehicular networks framework and types of simulator involved (both communications and traffic simulators). After the initial study is done, the project will focus on the first technical step of the roadmap. First a deep study of the SUMO software will be done in order to fully comprehend its functioning and utilities. After the use of SUMO has been mastered, the focus will move to the implementation of the vehicular control system. Once the control has been implemented, the first experiments will be conducted with the appropriate result analysis.
