dc.description.abstractThe paper proposes a method for analyzing large deformation of membrane structures. It is characteristic of the method to solve directly the equilibrium equations of forces working at the nodes in the structure. It is proved that the result of computing the large deformation behavior of a suspended membrane agrees well with the experimental result.
