The purpose of this study was to work as a lead for other cities as to implement renewable energy on their own context. In order to do so, a template is made to help these cities. The template has information of all the renewable energies that are used nowadays and how much of them have to be built to ensure heat and electricity to all inhabitants of the village. To do so, these energies are studied more deeply to understand different aspects such as: where are the best places to install them, how much energy they can produce. Besides, all the villages that have accomplished becoming self-sufficiency are studied to understand better how it would be possible to become a green city. With all the information gathered from these aspects a template is created. Knowing the population from the city, the total energy from a village can be calculated and with that the renewables energies needed are calculated as well.
