dc.description.abstract | This project has been carried out by Edgar Portillo and Juan Antonio Moreno during stay of five months in Lithuania. The aim of the project was to realize an UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) capable to flight with solar energy with long endurance but taking into account the limitations about time, money and technology. During the five months the team have been working in all project phases and learning about new knowledges related with the process of build an UAV from the beginning. As a final result we obtained a UAV capable of long endurance flight. It is able to performance all the flight process with guarantees. It has not been possible to place the solar cells for various reasons, this is a long project and it is only a prototype with which continue to working in the future but all the calculations are done showing that the prototype can fly with the solar cells. |
