Abstract
The SARTI group investigator, Oriol Pallares is preparing his thesis called “Sincronización en redes de communicación acusticas submarinas”, where he will test charge and power amplifiers for acoustic communication in UPC water tank. So this project will discuss the design and characterization of different charge and power amplifiers, selecting the best topology depending on the simulation results. After the selection of the topologies, real prototypes will be made for their characterization in the laboratory. Later an application will be designed in LabVIEW to analyze consume of these prototypes. Furthermore another application will be made in LabVIEW and matlab to analyze the complete system, and, where the transmitter detection and extinguish time of the useful signal will also be calculated. Finally, the results obtained by the both topologies were satisfactory because we employed differential charge amplifier, and the integrated circuit OPA445, which is quite suitable for the power amplifier or piezo driver application.
