dc.description.abstract | This project is the first attempt to achieve a noise reduction in earth moving machinery dumper
class. In the first paragraphs you can find about de acoustics in general and all the physics that it involves. Then, before some legal aspects of the maximum noise power permitted, you could see a noise reduction work done in AUSA machine.
With this machine more than 25 experiments are going to be done in order to determinate which modifications helps in the power reduction and which ones are not interesting. This experiment is going to divided it in two phases. The first one is going to determinate general aspects about the machine. The second one is going to focus on the ventilation system.
With all the data extracted, conclusions are going to sum up about which changes can be done to reduce the sound power level. |
