Abstract
In the present work, a compressible extension of the incompressible RANS and LES models implemented in TermoFluids is carried out. The objective is to solve compressible turbulent flows, i.e. high-Reynolds
and high-Mach flows, by means of turbulence modelling. Specifically, transonic turbulent flows where shock-boundary layer interaction (SBLI) is present are the main target due to its practical interest. With this idea in mind, several simulations of the Sajben’s transonic diffuser are presented.
