The Internet of Things (IoT) is already present in our daily lives. Thousands of devices are interconnected to improve our live. One of the most important solutions for IoT is Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Its integration into mobile devices (smartphones, tables, laptops ...) and its low power consumption, facilitates interaction between mobile devices and IoT nodes. Communication between mobile devices and IoT nodes requires the development of applications. Due to the high demand for applications and the need to run them over more than one operating system, the development using hybrid technologies has emerged. Hybrid technologies reduce what is known as time to market. That is, it is shorter employing hybrid technologies than using a native development for each operating system. The basis of these tools consists in hybrid web technologies, and their advantage is that the applications are programmed once; then, they are compiled for the desired platform (Android, iOS, Windows Phone ...). The TFG focuses specially is the following scenario: communication between mobile devices and IoT using hybrid applications and BLE technology. The aim is to develop a complete system ranging from data collection in a predetermined node to data exploitation in a server. The development of this application has been done using tools and technologies that are a benchmark in the IT sector, and that allow an agile development in order to reduce time to maket. Some of these technologies are Apache Cordova, Ionic Framework, AngularJS and Spring Framework.
