In the context of increasing electricity demand in Europe and the profound transformation of the electricity system due to the large scale integration of intermittent generation, Demand Side Management will become a key factor to balance the grid and act as an intelligent partner to generation. The aim of this project is to study the European countries demand, trying to infer some hypothesis that could yield to some Demand Side Management actions. The methodology used is to analyse first the yearly demand evolution, followed by the monthly, daily and hourly to perform both a qualitative and quantitave (automatic) study.
