This document contains the report of the project 'Footprint Strategies of Global Companies in China'. The project has as objective to examine the current Company K footprints and give possible recommendations. Other corporate aspects and functions are covered within the framework of projects in which this one is part of. Throughout the next chapters the study of the Chinese semiconductor industry current situation and its main players will be presented. These players will be evaluated and compared with Company K's current structure The strategy examination will be contrasted with other semiconductor companies as well as with two companies from other industries: Company P and Company Q. Both companies have different approach and their tactics will provide useful market understanding. The evaluation method will be based on both hard facts as revenue, locations, employees, etc. and also on different aspects such as history of development, human capital management, sales and marketing, etc. To conclude, this report will provide an analysis of Company K's future possibilities within China based on the current situation. It will also cover guidance and next steps recommended for the Company K's success in the Chinese market in the upcoming years.
