Computation of periodic orbits and their invariant manifolds in the RTBP

Abstract

This project is a study of the RTBP, in particular of a modification of this problem devised to study orbits of the Moon. Some parts of the project are done analytically while others numerically. The analytical part focuses on changes of variables and regularization techniques. The numerical part in integration of invariant manifolds and calculation of their angle of intersection. The main theory behind the project is that of Dynamical Systems.
