Disseny i implementació d'un sistema d'alerta de proximitat amb el terreny i objectes dinàmics per UAVs

Abstract

This document will introduce the steps followed during the design of a terrain and aircraft proximity system for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAV). The main objective in the development of an aircraft warning system is to design an awareness system which takes into account the errors of the sensors on board. The program will be able to foresight in which zones of the surrounding airspace the separation between aircraft is not going to be enough and show them in a display so that the pilot can avoid a collision. The terrain warning system will show the surrounding terrain around the UAV and its risk of a crash by taking into account the difference between the airplane altitude and the terrain. Both systems will be tried at the end to guarantee their proper operation. The terrain warning system will be tried in a flight simulator and the aircraft separation system will be tried in a flight traffic simulator. The description of the current separation systems used in commercial aviation as well as all the technologies and tools used for the development of the project will be described in the first half of the document. Next the text will be separated between the development to the aircraft warning system and the terrain warning system and the tests done to them. The final part will be the conclusions of the project and a list of areas where there's future work to be done.

En el seg ̈ uent document es detallaran els passos seguits durant el disseny d’un siste- ma d’alerta de proximitat amb el terreny i entre aeronaus per a vehicles aeris no tripu- lats(Unmanned Aerial Vehicles,UAV). L’objectiu en el desenvolupament del sistema d’aler- ta entre aeronaus ́ es dissenyar un m ` etode de previsi ́ o de traject ` ories en el que es tinguin en compte els errors dels sensors de bord. Utilitzant les dades que els avions comercials transmeten el programa ser ` a de capac ̧ de delimitar les zones de l’espai aeri en les que la separaci ́ o entre avions no ́ es suficient i mostrar-les en pantalla perqu ` e el pilot les pugui evitar. Paral lelament es desenvolupar ` a el sistema de proximitat amb el terreny. Aquest consistir ` a en una visualitzaci ́ o del terreny pr ` oxim a l’UAV i el risc que representa per a la nau. Ambd ́ os sistemes es provaran en el simulador per a garantir el seu correcte funcio- nament. S’utilitzar ` a un simulador de vol per al sistema d’alerta del terreny i un simulador de tr ` ansit aeri per a les alertes de separaci ́ o entre aeronaus. En la primera meitat de la mem ` oria es descriuran els sistemes de separaci ́ o usats actu- alment en aviaci ́ o comercial i els coneixements i eines necess ` aries per a desenvolupar el projecte. Posteriorment el treball es separar ` a entre el sistema d’alerta de proximitat d’aeronaus i el sistema de proximitat amb el terreny i les proves que s’han realitzat per a comprovar el seu correcte funcionament. Finalment es presentaran les conclusions de la mem ` oria i es proposaran algunes idees de millora per al futur.
