Abstract
[ANGLÈS] In this thesis, a non linear analysis model of D regions is implemented based on
the finite element method, which consider stage construction. In each stage, new
elements and materials can be incorporated or removed; therefore, the model is
suitable to account for strengthening and retrofitting. The model is based on
modifications of previous version of a non linear model SATLAB, developed in the
Department of Construction Engineering, and graphical user interface is developed.
The model has also been improved to account for stage construction phases and
anchorage failure of reinforcement has been considered in a simplified way. The
model is validated after a series of experimental studies on D regions, available from
the literature. Furthermore, tests on enlargements of pile‐caps are simulated; these
tests will be conducted in the short‐term in the Structural Technology Laboratory of
the UPC. Finally, the main conclusions of this research and recommendations are
presented. [CASTELLÀ] En esta tesina se desarrolla e implementa un modelo de análisis no lineal para
regiones D bidimensionales, mediante el método de los elementos finitos, que
considera construcción por fases. En cada fase se pueden añadir o eliminar elementos,
por lo que el modelo permite el estudio de los procesos de reparación y refuerzo. Para
ello, se parte del modelo de análisis no lineal SATLAB, se desarrolla una interfaz gráfica
y se implemente el análisis por etapas. La posible rotura por anclaje de las armaduras
se ha considerado mediante un procedimiento simplificado. El modelo se valida
mediante diferentes resultados experimentales de regiones D disponibles en la
literatura. Posteriormente, se simulan una futura campaña experimental sobre
encepados de pilotes recrecidos a realizarse a mediano plazo en el Laboratorio de
Tecnología de Estructuras de la UPC. Finalmente, se ofrecen las principales
conclusiones del estudio realizado.
