Abstract
By utilising the properties of Phase Change Materials to store energy when temperatures are
high and releasing it when temperatures are low, can reduce significantly the need for
energy in future construction.
The aim of the project is to develop a chemical process which provides as a result the
formation of capsules storing PCM.
Taking miniemulsion as a starting point, and by means of process of laboratory, we will try to
find the composition of the reactive that allow to retain the highest quantity of energy for
this application.
