Abstract

This thesis pretends to give an overview about Process Mining. The tool used for it has been Prom 5.1 software, a generic open-source framework for implementing process mining tools in a standard environment. The thesis has focused in a -Algorithm mining and is dedicated to university students who want to introduce in Prom Framework tool. All the explanations start from different examples available in the web page http://prom.win.tue.nl and it is pretend to rediscover appropriate workflow process models and discussing the weaknesses and strengths of the a-algorithm plugin.
