The subject of my thesis is Context-Aware Multiagent system for Mobile learning in a city, and is a small part inside the Fabula project. Fabula wants to try to become the city in a learning platform helping them to learn for each others using the increasing Wireless networks. The idea of the system is based on individuals carrying sophisticated mobile devices. Generally speaking Fabula can be divided into two main parts, services architecture and multi-agent system, this second one based on the idea of AGORA system that I am going to talk about later. More concretely my Master thesis is based on the idea of the increasingly functionalities added on mobile devices that made them much more similar to personal computers, if we join this with the fact that every year there are more Wireless free access points in the cities and with the everyday more famous social networks as facebook. For the other hand we are located in Trondheim a city with a Wi-Fi free zone located mainly in the downtown and with a big number of students many of them exchange students that are arriving every year for their own countries. To help these news students to meet each others ant to help them to visit the most important places in the city we will develop an application that using Wi-Fi connection and running on Android mobile devices will help them with this. Every user will have to create theirs own profile in Fabula system, and this profile will be completed using profiles information in the different socials networks. Then the user using his Fabula client will access to the network and according his profile, his own location (we can have access to the location using the information that we can obtain using GPS) and information about weather forecast the system will try to propose a game to the student in collaboration with others students with common interests to know new places in the city. The system will offer other functionalities as group chats. To work with all this information and try to build groups with profiles as close as possible we will work with ontology that will provide a data structure too.
