| dc.description.abstract | Revenue Management is concerned with demand-management decisions and the methodology and systems required to make them. It is widely used in airline industry and hotel industry. This project introduces the concept and origin of Revenue Management; analyze the development of single, multi resources RM and choice-based RM. Then it bases a network hotel RM model, uses two software to simulate simple the numerical problems. The Excel Solver is a simple illustration of how the RM models work in real case; IBM ILOG CPLEX is used to solve more complicated cases and simulate the real RM practices. |
