Abstract
The diploma of civil engineering studies aim is to design the reinforced bearing
constructions for the bureau and office building. This edifice is situated in Viljandi. The
safety, comfort and accordance with the standards – The Eesti Projekteerimise Normid
(EPN) – must be provided in designing of bearing constructions. The edifice
construction information must be taken into account, because the information of the
results loading is depending on that. The outer and inner walls are made from the
Columbia-kivi. The floors are made from C25/30 concrete and A500H armature. Each
floor has its own load of using.
It is planned to design the reinforced concrete floors, slabs and columns. At first, there
were made calculations of all the possible loads onto the foundation. Proceeding from
the last load there were calculated the armature for the foundation and the chosen piles
and their distance.
The floor calculations were based for the conitnuing beam scheme in both directions.
According to the calculations there was chosen a longitudinal reinforcement and
provided a cross reinforcement in the junction of columns with the overhead covers.
The calculations of columns were based on the same results of the loads.
In the final analysis I have gained an experience on the calculating of the reinforced
concrete structures and improved my designing skills in the civil engineering. The most
important part is the technical drawings in conformity with the results, because the
quality of constructions depends on them. The drawings must be precise and coherent
for constructors.
