dc.description.abstract | A non invasive optical glucose monitoring device based on a commercial pulse oximeter has been the object of this study. The fundamental principles of the technology and the proprietary algorithm were studied. The results of a prior clinical trial were analyzed with advanced biostatistical tools. Finally, a preliminary optical setup was designed and utilized to study the potential of additional wavelengths to improve the device/algorithm performance. |
