One of the main problems that raises the regression is to find the best lineal equation as of a certain list of possible variable regressions.
The article purpose is to comment the method of generating all possible regressions with a later comparison through Mallows Cp judgment, illustrating the process with the application of the method to an actual case.; Un dels principals problemes que planteja la regressió és el de trobar la millor equació lineal a partir d'una certa llista de possibles variables regressores.

Contour maps are frequently used to represent three-dimensional surfaces from geographical applications or experimental results. In this paper two new algorithms for the generation and display of such contours are presented.
The first of them uses local spline interpolation to obtain contour maps from data points in a rectangular mesh, whereas the other interpolates a set of irregular points through recursive subdivision of triangles. In both algorithms, precision of the contours can be adjusted by the user by means of a parameter. Results are presented and discussed.

Some coefficients of inequality can be expressed as functions of the mean values of an initial distribution and of a distribution truncated in several critical points, mainly quartiles and medial, even though it is not common to find such a notation in the current literature on statistics and economics.
This paper deals with some of these measurements; accumulations, indexes of parity and disparity, and notable distances in the concentration curve, all of them in the range of application of the personal distribution of income in Spain in the years of the economic planification.; Algunos coeficientes de desigualdad pueden expresarse en función de las medias de una distribución inicial y otra truncada en varios puntos críticos, en especial los cuartiles y la Mediala, aún cuando no es normal encontrarlos así reseñados en la literatura estadístico-económica.

In this paper, the role of strictly proper quadratic utility measures in Bayesian inference and experiment comparison is investigated. This utility function, which is not local, provides a good basis for the resolution of many real situations which are not purely inferential. By recognizing the decision problem underlying statistical inference, we obtain the criteria for experiment comparison based on the quadratic scoring rule. Properties and relations with other criteria are studied, particularly with those based on sufficiency and on the maximation of the informational energy gain. Finally some particular cases are commented and new areas of research suggested.

Two distinct ultrametrics, i.e., two hierarchical clustering schemes, may arise from a unique dissimilarity index when using a classification method. May be measured the distance between them by means of a distance index defined on the set of all dissimilarities over a finite set.
In the following article the problem of unicity of hierarchical classification associated with complete linkage and UPGMA methods is analyzed in the following aspects:
a) Defining an associated dissimilarity for every hierarchical level.
