Flix is a municipality in the north of Ribera d'Ebre, in the province of Tarragona, where, in 2016, at the Business Center, they had the initiative to open a coworking space aimed at small entrepreneurs and / or new entrepreneurs. This is constituted in a space of 35m2 where five coworkers have room. Following the success and demand of spaces, a rehabilitation project is proposed for a historic building that is part of the industrial complex of the factory and the chemical colony of Flix, in order to create a new space for larger coworking and with more services. This is the project to change the use and rehabilitation of the former Civil Guard barracks in Coworking located on the Avenida de Ribarroja s / n corner of Ernest Scheff Street. What we want to achieve is to enable the building, which was originally residential with compact volumes, in clear spaces with common areas to improve relations between companies. The new building will retain the same volume as the original but with a new distribution of the spaces adapted to the new needs.
