dc.description.abstractThis project proposes a design of an ultrasonic generator oriented to industrial applications like ultrasonic soldering, cutting and drilling. For this, it has been developed a first design of the system using some recent techniques in order to obtain a generator with a variable auto-tuning network to cancel the imaginary impedance of the transducer and a feedback stage to find automatically the resonance frequency. Finally, a prototype has been constructed and a first evaluation of the different parts of the device has been done in order to obtain the first results of the design.
