| dc.description.abstract | Nutrimarket is an innovative educational project designed to promote healthier eating habits through an immersive virtual reality (VR) experience. The primary goal of Nutrimarket is to address the widespread lack of knowledge about healthy diets and the unawareness of sugar content in everyday products. The project targets adults in their thirties, particularly those with limited or no experience with VR, who are employed by companies looking to educate their staff about nutrition. The Nutrimarket experience places users in a realistic virtual supermarket, where they can interact with various products and learn about their nutritional values. One of the key features is the visualization of sugar content in commonly consumed items, represented in sugar cubes, which provides a powerful and memorable learning experience. Additionally, the project includes a mini-game area where users can engage with the principles of a balanced diet through interactive play. The outcomes of the Nutrimarket project include the successful creation of a highly realistic supermarket environment and an engaging educational tool that effectively communicates important dietary information. The project has received positive feedback from stakeholders, particularly a nutritional coach who plans to incorporate Nutrimarket into her coaching sessions, giving her a competitive edge by offering a unique and engaging service. |
