Gerox Works és un despatx d’enginyeria i de fabricació de maquinària agrícola amb diversos projectes oberts. Un dels seus productes principals i en el qual es centra aquest projecte són les trasplantadores que funcionen amb el sistema de Plant Tape. Aquest nou sistema de sembra i trasplantació és diferent als anteriors. En el aspecte de sembra, es fa sobre un material especial que pot guardar-se en sec sense que comenci la germinació. Això permet sembrar el material que es necessita i guardar-lo a càmeres de fred fins que es vulgui portar a regar-lo per germinar i fer el planter abans del trasplantant. Per la part de trasplantació, és un sistema molt interessant per als clients ja que pot trasplantar a velocitats de 8-12 km/h amb remolcs que poden portar fins a 6 trasplantadores. Deixant les plantes a distàncies exactes entre elles, el camp queda molt uniforme i sense mancances de planta. Cada cop estan interessant-se més empreses en aquest tipus de sistema i les ventes estan augmentat sense que haguem tingut temps d’organitzar la documentació, traçabilitat i programa de gestió de comandes i estocs. Es per això que el objectiu d’aquest projecte és fer una organització general de Gerox Works per poder encarar el augment de ventes i de diversitat de màquines. En primer lloc s’ha creant una base de dades per guardar tota informació rellevant per poder accedir-hi des d’un programa de gestió. De moment hi ha posada tota la traçabilitat de les peces i assemblatges i està preparada la estructura dels assemblatges que composen la trasplantadora. Amb tot això es podrà gestionar automàticament els estocs quan variïn degut al muntatge d’assemblatges, arribada de material o venta de recanvis. El magatzem que hi havia es va quedar petit i s’ha hagut d’augmentar el espai. S’han adquirit dos locals propers i s’ha fet una distribució ben indexada per tal de poder tenir la localització de les referències a la base de dades. Per poder optimitzar alguns processos de fabricació s’ha fet una premsa hidràulica que ajuda en el muntatge de certs assemblatges. S’han preparat bases per guardar-hi els assemblatges, aquestes bases es guarden sobre estanteries mòbils o sobre palets. Un altre aspecte que ha variat és la nomenclatura de la màquina. Per poder tenir ben segmentada la màquina i poder nombrar les diverses trasplantadores s’ha hagut de canviar la nomenclatura del assemblatges. D’aquesta manera es té una bona organització documental dels arxius de les peces i assemblatges de les diverses variants de la trasplantadora ben arxivats i actualitzats. Per finalitzar, s’ha creat una documentació de les trasplantadores per als clients. Aquesta documentació els hi permetrà anar movent-se per imatges de vistes esclatades dels muntatges de les trasplantadores. D’aquesta manera els clients tindran un catàleg virtual de totes les peces en el que poden anar movent-se per els assemblatges fins triat la peça o muntatge que vulguin. Un objectiu encara en procés és lligar aquestes imatges a l’aplicació mòbil i que els clients puguin fer les comandes des d’ella.

Gerox Works is an engineering and agricultural machinery manufacturing office with several open projects. One of the main products and the focus of this project are the transplanters that work with the Plant Tape system. This new sowing and transplanting system is different from the previous ones. In the sowing aspect, it is done on a special material that can be kept dry without starting germination. This allows to sow the material that is needed and to keep it in cold storage until it is ready to be watered to germinate and to make the planter before transplanting. For the transplanting aspect, it is a very interesting system for the clients since it can transplant at speeds of 8-12 km/h with trailers that can carry up to 6 transplanters. Leaving the plants at exact distances from each other, the field is very uniform and without plants missing. More and more companies are becoming interested in this type of system and sales are increasing without us having time to organize the documentation, traceability and management program of orders and stocks. That is why the objective of this project is to make a general organization of Gerox Works to be able to face the increase in sales and diversity of machines. First, a database has been created to store all relevant information to be able to access it from a management program. Now all the traceability of the pieces and assemblies has been done and the structure of the assemblies that make up the transplanter has been prepared. With all this it will be possible to automatically manage the stocks when they vary due to the made assemblies, arrival of material or sale of spare parts. The existing warehouse was too small, and the space had to be increased. Two new premises have been acquired and a well indexed distribution has been made to be able to have the location of the references in the database. To optimize some manufacturing processes, a hydraulic press has been made to help in the assembly of certain assemblies. Bases have been prepared to store the assemblies, these bases are stored on mobile shelves or on pallets. Another aspect that has changed is the nomenclature of the machine. To have the machine well segmented and to be able to name the different transplanters, the nomenclature of the assemblies has had to be changed. In this way there is a good documental organization of the archives of the parts and assemblies of the different variants of the transplanter, well filed and updated. Finally, a documentation of the transplanters has been created for the customers. This documentation will allow them to move through images of views of the transplanter assemblies. In this way the clients will have a virtual catalogue of all the parts in which they can move through the assemblies until they find the piece or assembly they want. An objective that is still in process is to link these images to the mobile application so that customers can place orders from it.
