Pla d’explotació i restauració per reapertura d’una explotació minera

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to study the viability, both economic and technical, of the exploitation of a porphyry quarry. It consists of a report with the restoration plan and the economic study and three appendices: 1. Safety and health document, 2. Blueprints, 3. Sheet of particular prescriptions. It is an open pit, located in the north-east of the municipality of Riudecols (Baix Camp). The extracted material is used for the manufacture of different granulometries of aggregates in the construction sector, mainly the manufacture of concrete, bituminous mixtures, sub-bases for roads, roads and other similar utilities in civil works. From a technical point of view, the mining activity is carried out through banks descending in depth, simultaneously with and integrated restoration. The startup will be carried out by drilling and blasting, as well as subsequent loading and transport of the material by mechanical means to the mobile aggregate manufacturing plants. The project considers the extraction of a total volume of 10.600.834 m3. Taking into account the number of exploitable reserves and the expected annual production rate, the exploitation time of the deposit contemplated in this project will be at least 27 years from the current state of the quarry. In order to reactivate the operation, it will be necessary to apply for a loan of 8.661.759€ for the initial investment in the purchase of machinery, civil works and other investments such as a workshop, the purchase of the quarry, computer systems, and so on. Over the next few years, the quarry will have financial and operating costs (raw materials, energy, contracted staff, machinery maintenance and other additional costs). The study carried out shows that the project is technically and economically profitable and viable.

Aquet projecte te per objecte l’estudi de la viabilitat, tant econòmica com tècnica, de l’explotació d’una pedrera porfírica. Consta d’una memòria amb el pla de restauració i l’estudi econòmic i tres annexes: 1. Document de seguretat i salut, 2. Plànols, 3. Plec de prescripcions particulars. Es tracta d’una explotació a cel obert, localitzada al nord-est del terme municipal de Riudecols (Baix Camp). El material extret s’utilitza per la fabricació de diferents granulometries d’àrids pel sector de la construcció, principalment la fabricació de formigons, mescles bituminoses, sub-bases per a carreteres, camins i altres utilitats similars en obra civil. Des d’un punt de vista tècnic, l’activitat minera es realitza mitjançant bancs descendents en profunditat, simultàniament amb una restauració integrada. L’arrencament es realitzarà mitjançant perforació i voladura, així com una posterior càrrega i transport del material amb mitjans mecànics fins a les plantes mòbils de fabricació dels àrids. El projecte planteja l’extracció d’un volum total de 10.600.834 m3.Tenint en compte la xifra de reserves explotables i el ritme de producció anual previst, el temps d’explotació del jaciment contemplat en aquest projecte serà de, com a mínim, 27 anys des de l’estat actual de la pedrera. Per a la reactivació de l’explotació serà necessari sol·licitar un préstec de 8.661.759,00 € per a la inversió inicial de compra de maquinaria, obra civil i altres inversions com un taller, la compra de la pedrera, sistemes informàtics, etc. Durant els pròxims anys, la pedrera tindrà costos financers i d’explotació (Matèries primes, energètics, personal contractat, manteniment de la maquinaria i altres complementaris). L’estudi realitzat demostra que el projecte es tècnicament i econòmicament rentable i viable.
