El ámbar espacial de Marià Castelló

Abstract

The article presents the artistic project “Fragments d’arquitectura” developed by architect Marià Castelló. In addition to drawing attention to the plastic beauty of the works that make up the series, the text exposes the important potential of the pieces as spatial synthesizers. With this initiative, Castelló creates a type of “capture” of space that has fixed principles and a changing aspect, and that highlights the interest of architectural moments present both in the heritage of the island of Formentera and in its own projects. It is an artistic proposal that allows us to reflect on the ways of poeticizing the representation of space.

El artículo presenta el proyecto artístico “Fragments d’arquitectura” desarrollado por el arquitecto Marià Castelló. Además de llamar la atención sobre la belleza plástica de las obras que conforman la serie, el texto expone el importante potencial de las piezas como sintetizadores espaciales. Castelló crea con esta iniciativa un tipo de “captura” del espacio que tiene principios fijos y aspecto cambiante, y que le ha servido para destacar el interés de momentos arquitectónicos presentes tanto en el patrimonio de la isla de Formentera como en sus propios proyectos. Se trata de una propuesta artística que permite reflexionar sobre los modos de poetizar la representación del espacio.
