El món rural és tremendament complex, ja que hi conflueixen nombroses temàtiques que s’entrellacen i condicionen contínuament, i que a més ho fan sobre territoris molt diversos i irrepetibles, que són a la vegada suggerents. Però presenta també importants problemàtiques, vinculades a l’envelliment poblacional, les desigualtats o la manca d’accés als serveis bàsics. Aquest document pretén fer una aportació reflexiva sobre els nuclis rurals, amb l’objectiu d’establir alguns criteris per a restablir un necessari reequilibri territorial i millorar la qualitat de vida dels assentaments rurals.

The rural world is extremely complex, as it brings together numerous themes that are continuously intertwined and conditioner, and on very diverse and unrepeatable territories, making it at the same time suggestive. But it also presents important problems, linked to the ageing of the population, inequalities or lack of access to basic services. This document aims to make a reflective contribution on rural areas, with the aim of establishing some criteria to reestablish a necessary territorial rebalancing and improve the quality of life of rural settlements.
