Abstract
Urban and transportation planning have been receiving increasing interest for years. This interest has been boosted by very different factors such as the climate crisis or the saturation of cities, with the subsequent lack of space, unhealth environment and unaffordable living conditions. Also, by technological advances in vehicles, infrastructure and communications, that could lead to opti-mized mobility solutions and allow for significant changes in daily travel patterns. However, new urban design and mobility solutions are usually defined using aggregated data and for a generic user, this is, without considering people’s diversity. This research is aimed at analyzing to which extent the emerging urban trends are beneficial for different user profiles, this is, if they contribute to mobility equity.
