Memòria del Programa de restauració de la pedrera Octubre RA56, Tossa de Mar (AE 85/0835)

Abstract

La pedrera Octubre RA56 explota des de l'any 1966 un jaciment de granit per a la producció d'àrids de construcció. En data 28.01.2008 es va autoritzar, per part dels Serveis Territorials de Girona, la transmissió del dret miner a favor de la societat HORMICON SA. El 14.07.2020, l’empresa HORMICON SA va sol·licitar la concessió d’un termini de sis mesos (prorrogats fins al 06.04.2021) per a presentar una modificació i actualització del contingut del programa de restauració inicial, sobre l’activitat extractiva. Aquest instrument de gestió ambiental tindrà ús futur per a la protecció i restauració ecològica de la pedrera Octubre RA56. L'objectiu principal és que la zona restaurada a llarg termini tingui la mateixa qualitat ecològica i paisatgística que la zona que l’envolta o millorar-la.

The Octubre RA56 has been operated since 1966 as a granite quarry for the production of construction aggregates. On 28.01.2008 the mining exploitation right was transferred to HORMICON SA society and it was authorized by the Territorial Services of Girona. On 14.07.2020, HORMICON SA requested the granting of six-month period (extended until 06.04.2021) to submit a modification and update the content of the Restoration Program of the extractive activity. This environmental management instrument will be used in the future for the protection and ecological restoration of the Octubre RA56 quarry. The main objective of this document is that at the end the area restored will be able to show the same ecological and landscape quality as the area around it or even improve it.
