El projecte consisteix en plantejar la reducció d’una línia de producció de conjunts d’automoció. Aquesta línia es troba dins d’una empresa industrial del sector ubicada al Bages, Barcelona. El motiu d’aquesta reducció es deu a una dràstica caiguda de la demanda per part del client i la conseqüent necessitat de l’empresa de reduir els costs de producció, espai en planta, personal i manteniment d’aquesta línia. El treball tindrà l’objectiu de dissenyar un nou plànol en planta o layout de la instal·lació i un nou procés productiu reduint el nombre d’operaris i l’espai ocupat per la línia actual. Per fer-ho es pretén disminuir la quantitat d’estacions a base d’augmentar el temps de cicle sense sobrepassar el nou Takt time.

The project consists in planning the downsizing of a production line of automotive assemblies. This line can be found in an industrial company of the automotive sector located in el Bages, Barcelona. The reason of this reduction is due to an important drop in the customer demand, and the associated need of the company to minimize the costs of production, plant space, workers and maintenance. The study will have the objective to design a new layout of the line and a new productive process by reducing the number of operators and the used space by the current line. To do that the idea is to decrease the quantity of stations by increasing the cycle time without exceeding the new Takt time.
