| dc.description.abstract | This thesis investigates inkjet-printed organic memristors using a cPVP switching layer and printed metal/polymer electrodes. Hybrid (Si/HfO2/Ag) and fully printed (Ag/cPVP/Ag and Ag/cPVP/PEDOT:PSS) device stacks were fabricated and electrically characterised. Optimal printing conditions for Ag, CuO and PEDOT:PSS inks were determined and cPVP films were used. Fully printed asymmetric devices exhibited the best endurance (stable cycling up to several thousand cycles; endurance collapse ≈35000 cycles in long pulsed tests) while symmetric devices showed larger Ion/Ioff windows (≈10^5) but lower endurance. |
