dc.description.abstractWe present a new technique based on a dissipation induced modulation instability, caused by unbalanced spectral dissipation for signal and idler waves, with applications in amplifiers and parametric oscillators but especially for frequency combs and pulses generation in fiber resonators. © 2018 IEEE.
