Abstract

In un'epoca di globalizzazione, in cui i concetti di autenticità e identità sembrano non avere più significato, le rovine permettono all'architettura di assumere ancora un senso. Questo va ricercato nel rapporto con il tempo passato, con la memoria individuale e collettiva e con la capacità delle rovine di suscitare emozioni.

ENG: In an age of globalization in the world, in which the concepts of authenticity and identity seem to have no more meaning, the ruins still allow the architecture to take on a meaning. This is sought in the relation with the past, with individual and collective memory and with the ruins' ability to arouse emotions.
