Was data derived from another source?: No METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION -------------------------- F-WH analogy and Curle analogy have been implemented in a new solver of the CFD Open Source OpenFOAM. This solver has been used to solve the aeroacoustics field of a tandem cylinder. The resultant acoustic field is measured using a virtual microphone and the sample acoustic pressure is postProcessed to obtain the PSD spectrum for both Curle's and F-WH analogies. 1. Methods for processing the data: The collected data is transformed using the noise utility already included in OpenFOAM. It allows the user to calculate the PSD of an array of acoustic pressure values over a given period of time. 3.
