Abstract
The objective of this work was to study of the effect of the copolymer polyvinyl-pyrrolidone/Vinylimidazol (PVP/VI),such as dye transfer inhibition agent (DTI) during the washing of the polyester dyed fabric in function of the components of the detergent. The product DTI was used for repeated washings of polyester previously dyed with disperse dyes. At the same time for avoiding the migration of dye to other fabrics during the washing process. (polyester, secondary cellulose acetate, acrylic, polyamide, cotton and wool) the DTI efficiency was found. The influence of the anionic and non-ionic surfactant and their different proportions of them and with and without sodium perborate and with zeolite such as builder and the DTI indicated were tested.. Results of CIELAB colour difference of dyed and undyed polyester fabrics after five washings, with and without the presence of such polymer and perborate were studied.
