Abstract
English: Development of a vehicle controlled by means of GPS The use of the systems unmanned in the field civil and especially in the military, it was a reality in exponential growth before the economic recession suffered in the last years. Due to this situation these systems was affected by the cuts applied in different countries of the whole world, and in consequence, the investigation and the development of the same ones have slowed down considerably. The aim of this work is design a Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) capable of going from an initial point known up to a final point of an autonomous way, being capable of avoid the different obstacles that he finds in his distance and to store the information of the same one. It has been necessary to apply knowledge of electronics and programming, which, they have been assimilated along the university studies. The methodology used in this work has consisted of make a search bibliography of the systems unmanned and components dedicated a this work, with the intention of extending knowledge about of this systems and know each one them respectively. And now, the prototype of the vehicle has been designed and the construction of the same one has been carried out. Finally, the checking of the prototype and to check the aims established from the beginning of this work, applying him if it is necessary, and the opportune modifications. The results obtained in this work have been satisfactory, since the constructed UGV has been capable of fulfilling the principal mentioned aim previously. It is necessary to mention that the author of this work, which has designed this UGV, offers the possibility that in later projects the pupils of the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) could apply improvements or to evolve the vehicle with the purpose of optimizing it.
